I contacted Ronaldo and after listening to him on the phone, I could tell he knew what he was talking about. He ordered a used motor, which had 50,000 miles did an excellent job and had me back on the road. He also changed the plugs, transmission fluid and antifreeze. Ronald is great he is a one man operation , but he knows electronics and the hybrid system. Ronald worked on my braking system a few years ago and was way more reasonable than the $3500 dealership wanted. Last month, the Hybrid battery gave out on me, and he was able to get it back by replacing a few cells, saving me a ton. After having my car sit for a whole year and getting nothing but huge quotes to try and get it running, I took my Honda civic with a check engine and IMA light on they were able to get it running for a really good price. I was really looking at some back situation and they helped me get back to rolling. I can't thank them enough and I am telling everyone I know with a hybrid to take it here. I’m posting another review for Ronaldo after being told he lost all his previous ones from changing his name and I want customers to know he’s the real deal! He helped me fix the battery voltage issue for my Prius in 2020 after Toyota wanted me to replace the entire Toyota hybrid battery for $4,000. He instead took his time to find out what part was faulty and replaced those parts saving me thousands of dollars. I will always be grateful for his efforts and taking the path that wasn’t the quickest so that I would not over pay. He also drives electric and hybrid cars which to me makes a difference because he is committed to this green automotive community and always shares ideas on how to improve them. Most recently my car stalled cus the other battery died and he came to jump and test it on site which is a courtesy most mechanics would not do. BEST HYBRID TECHNICIAN IN TOWN HANDS DOWN!!!!! 20 shops I called and asked for help on my tahoe hybrid none of them followed up with me, even dealerships that sold hybrids would put me on hold and never come back to the phone, very infuriating. Finally, I get in contact with Ronaldo and over the phone explains, in detail, how hybrids work and stresses that regular mechanics are not certified to work on hybrids, which I had already made the mistake of letting a regular mechanic try to diagnose it which cost me an extra 2k. Long story short, I get the truck towed to his shop for a no start issue, and he gets right to work. Very good communication and is also very responsive. He was explaining all the work he was doing, in detail, very honest with his work. VERY dedicated to his work. He was sending pictures of the work before and after. Any problems he found he would call to let me know what was wrong and what it would take to fix them. He told me the price up-front of what i would be expected to pay no hidden costs or anything of the sort. He doesn't charge an arm and leg for his work. He was VERY reasonable and, by far, the BEST mechanic thus far I have EVER dealt with. VERY trustworthy guy. I have no complaints whatsoever. His work was PHENOMENAL and will continue to be a loyal customer for a lifetime. I will recommend him to anyone who has hybrid troubles. This guy is the TRUTH when it comes to hybrids and ANYTHING electrical, for that matter. THANK YOU for getting my truck running i APPRECIATE YOU!!
